In the event a candidate fails one or both portions of the certification exam and requests to re-take the portion failed, he/she may do so within 12 months of notification of their results. This fee is payable at the time they request to retake either portion of the examination (if both are to be retaken, the fee is paid twice, once for each section). Candidates taking longer than 12 months to decide after notification is received will also need to re-register with the appropriate fees as well.
